Long lines strand fans outside Yankee Stadium for wild card

The Yankees and Astros got underway at The Stadium at 8:10 Tuesday night, but empty seats still littered the stands.

That's because thousands of people were waiting outside to get in.

Lines stretched as far as the eye could see around The Stadium, and fans sounded off about what they deemed inadequate preparation by the Yankees staff.

"It's pretty frustrating. I just want to get inside," a fan named Jason said. "It seems like everyone's out here and no one's inside."

Some fans got in line before 7 p.m. and were still waiting to enter The Stadium at 8:20, with at least a third of the line still in front of them.
