Leon Draisaitl is getting paid.
The Edmonton Oilers center signed an eight-year, $112 million extension on Tuesday. The deal comes on the back of the Oilers making a run to the Stanley Cup Finals in June. Draisaitl has tallied 850 points across 719 games in 10 NHL seasons -- the third-highest total in that span behind his teammate in Edmonton Connor McDavid (982) and Tampa Bay Lightning winger Nikita Kucherov (855).
