All those who thought Ken Singleton is retiring: Look out.
The YES Network announcer is no longer walking away after this season, according to NJ Advance Media, who reported he will be back in 2019 on a reduced work schedule.
YES had been trying to entice Singleton to stick around by offering to trim his workload, The Post’s Andrew Marchand reported in June, and now his schedule will drop from 55 games this year to 24 next, according to the report.
Singleton had said watching his grandchildren grow, and play baseball and soccer, would be a big factor into his decision.
