Jorge Posada took to the radio waves Thursday to apologize for unflattering comments he made about Alex Rodriguez in which he disparaged his former New York Yankees teammate’s Hall of Fame credentials.
Posada, who ripped A-Rod during an interview Wednesday on “CBS This Morning,” insisted on WFAN’s “Boomer & Carton” radio program that he felt pressured into suggesting Rodriguez doesn’t belong in the Baseball Hall of Fame due to his PED use.
“I tried to text him yesterday,” Posada said of Rodriguez, as transcribed in a CBS New York report. “I feel like I was cornered into this answer.
