DETROIT — John Kasich, too?
After Derek Jeter fielded a question about if he'd consider being Donald Trump's vice president if the controversial 69-year-old won the Republican presidential primary, Trump's opponent, Ohio Gov. Kasich, brought up the retired Yankees shortstop.
"People say, 'If you win, who's going to be your vice president? Somebody that I would have under consideration? Jeter," Kasich told reporters while visiting the Bronx on Thursday.
A couple weeks ago, Jeter said he wouldn't be interested in being Trump's running mate.
"That sounds like too much work," Jeter said while visiting Cuba with Major League Baseball in late March.
