Another Joe has left the Bronx.
About a week after the news of Joe Girardi's ouster as Yankees manager, Joe Espada jumped from the pinstripes to the Astros.
Espada, the Yankees' third base coach and infield instructor the last three seasons, will take over the bench coach job vacated by Alex Cora, the Red Sox's new manager.
Espada, a career minor-leaguer, had joined the Yankees in 2014 as a special assistant to general manager Brian Cashman.
A few thoughts.
