The New York Yankees announced on Thursday morning that they will be parting ways with manager Joe Girardi, who has been in the position since 2008.
Since the announcement, many names have been thrown around as potential candidates, but a new name was introduced today, 2009 World Series champion Jerry Hairston Jr.
One name I’m hearing in connection with #Yankees’ job: Jerry Hairston Jr. In similar mold to Hinch, Roberts, Cora; won WS in 2009 with NYY.
