A concerning day for Yankees fans everywhere, as the Tampa Yankees have announced that outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury is not in the lineup for their game tonight. They are saying after going 0-3 in his rehab debut that he needs a day of rest. Ellsbury has been out since May 19th with a sprained right knee. With the Yankees having one of the worst team ERA(4.09) the offense needs to be firing on all cylinders, and Ellsbury can provide an instant boost with his bat and speed on the base paths.
This announcement is a head-scratcher.
