But they're still No. 1 in wallet size.

For the 20th straight year, the Yankees were the league's most valuable franchise, according to Forbes. Owner Hal Steinbrenner's club was worth $3.7 billion in 2016. It generated more revenue ($526 million) than any other team, too.

The Mets -- owned by Fred and Jeff Wilpon and Saul Katz -- are worth $2 billion. The Phillies -- owned by John Middleton -- were at $1.6 billion.
