NEW YORK -- Former Yankees reliever Nick Goody felt helpless.

He was in New York City, so far from his worried aunt Paula Haynes, whose family's home in Southeast Texas had flooded thanks to Hurricane Harvey.

So Goody, now with the Indians, turned to Twitter on Tuesday, shooting off a pair of messages, hoping someone would rescue her.

Hours later, boats showed up to help Haynes.
