This last series against the Toronto Blue Jays did not go as planned. After sweeping the Blue Jays earlier in the month, the Yankees' bats were stifled against Toronto's pitching. After losing David Price in free agency, the biggest question mark for Toronto heading into 2016 was their starting rotation. Entering yesterday's game, their rotation had a cumulative ERA of 3.72 and led AL teams in innings pitched with 950.1 frames. The Cleveland Indians rotation has the next best ERA in the AL, at 4.06.
For years, it seemed like the Blue Jays' rotation consisted of Roy Halladay, then whoever else was next.
