HOUSTON (AP) -- Houston starter Brett Oberholtzer has been ejected in the second for throwing at New York's Alex Rodriguez.

Oberholtzer threw inside on Rodriguez and he jumped out of the way to avoid being hit. Oberholtzer was immediately ejected as Rodriguez stood at the plate with his hand on his left hip.

Oberholtzer stomped to the dugout where he threw his glove and knocked over some paper cups in anger.

The Yankees led 6-0 at the time of his ejection. Roberto Hernandez came in to pitch.
