Holliday headed to DL; Yanks call up Andujar

The Yankees will be without designated hitter Matt Holliday for at least the next week and a half after placing him on the 10-day disabled list with a viral infection, the club announced Wednesday.

Yankees prospect Miguel Andujar is getting the call to the big leagues to take Holliday's place on the active roster, where he will join the abundance of young talent in New York making waves throughout the Majors.

Holliday is on his way back to New York to undergo further testing to determine exactly what is causing the infection, according to MLB Network Insider Jon Heyman.
