With Alex Rodriguez’s infamous 162-game suspension from Major League Baseball in the rearview mirror, and with his bat doing the talking for a change, fans are forgiving, if not forgetting, his steroid scandal.
“He’s done everything right, and everybody you talk to in the baseball world says he’s become the perfect teammate,” says Joe Favorito, a sports-marketing professor at Columbia University. “He’s really shown his love of the game.”
