The Yankees are planning a celebration to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the team's 1998 World Series title.

That juggernaut of a club won 114 regular season games, which was an American League record until the Seattle Mariners won 116 games in 2001.

The culmination of the historic season? A four-game sweep of the San Diego Padres.

Just about every key player and coach from that team will return to Yankee Stadium for the festivities, except for one major omission: Derek Jeter.
