BALTIMORE — Gleyber Torres has shown the skills that allowed him to come up through the minors as a shortstop, but in four games at his old position in place of Didi Gregorius, Torres has also made three errors.
The miscues have come in three straight games — including one in the fifth inning of Saturday’s 10-3 win over the Orioles at Camden Yards in the first game of a split doubleheader.
This one came on a slow chopper by Adam Jones with two out and forced J.A. Happ to pitch to Trey Mancini with two on.
