Gleyber Torres was a late scratch from yesterday’s Yankees-Braves game. He has apparently been dealing with right hip flexor issues for a few years now, and his hip tightened up on him after Monday’s game. However, Aaron Boone said that the decision to keep him out of the game was just precautionary, and he did enter the game as a defensive sub late last night.
Now might be the time to be concerned though. Torres was back in the lineup today, but was removed from the game following the fourth inning.
