Giancarlo Stanton out of Yankees’ lineup for ALCS Game 4

The Yankees’ lineup for Game 4 of the ALCS is out and Giancarlo Stanton is once again not in it.

Aaron Hicks will bat third ahead of Gleyber Torres with Brett Gardner dropped to the sixth spot in the order.

Stanton, battling a quad injury, jogged to first base multiple times and from first to third twice under the watch of coach Reggie Willits on Thursday afternoon.

The oft-injured outfielder has been available as a pitch-hitter for the past two games, though the Yankees have been considering options to replace him on the ALCS, including Mike Tauchman and Luke Voit.
