The big glass is half-full.
Giancarlo Stanton has half of it all figured out over his first 40 games as a Yankee. That’s not a bad start to his career in pinstripes.
Stanton destroys left-handed pitching, and on a wet, chilly Sunday afternoon at Yankee Stadium he was a monster masher again, this time versus A’s lefty Brett Anderson, collecting three hits against Anderson, a home run and three RBIs in the Yankees’ 6-2 win over Oakland.
With the victory, the Yankees matched the Red Sox for the best record in the majors at 28-12.
