The Yankees could certainly get used to this.
In his first at-bat since returning from the injured list, Giancarlo Stanton doubled off a sharp line drive to center field Wednesday night against the Angels.
Stanton, the Yankees’ $325 million man, battled from an 0-2 count after being out since June with a strained ligament in his right knee.
The leftfielder has played in only nine games to date, hitting one home run and seven RBIs to go along with a .290 batting average as a result of multiple injuries this season.
Stanton played the field Wednesday, and manager Aaron Boone said he’d likely be pulled after four to five innings.
