Giancarlo Stanton was down 0-2 to another right-hander and it certainly looked like he was going to falter in a big moment yet again.
But with one swing of the bat Wednesday, Stanton finally changed the narrative about the slugger in The Bronx, crushing a game-winning homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth off Seattle’s Ryan Cook to give the Yankees a 7-5 win.
The 453-foot shot to left-center was the Yankees’ third walk-off homer of the season.
