Cecil Fielder was at Yankee Stadium when Aaron Judge homered in his major league debut last August.
“From the first time I saw him, I thought he was going to be a pretty good athlete because he’s a five-tool player,” the former Yankees slugger said Monday. “He’s got the ability to do anything he wants to on the baseball field.”
And that’s pretty much what Judge has done for the first two months of the season.
Judge has been at or near the top of the league leaders in homers for much of the year.
“With that kind of power, he has the ability to go the opposite field and straightaway center,” Fielder said while taking part in a fundraiser for Hank’s Yanks, an organization that funds youth baseball teams.
