Phil Hughes has endeared himself to Yankees fans once more.
The pitcher hasn’t worn pinstripes in five years, but he can still stoke some fire in Red Sox fans with a single tweet about their beloved ballpark.
“Beyond the history, Wrigley and Fenway suck,” Hughes tweeted Tuesday night in regards to his own question about people’s most unpopular opinion.
Hughes went on to say he loved Chicago and Boston as cities, but lamented their visiting clubhouses, which are known to be cramped and outdated. Fenway opened in 1912 while Wrigley Field came two years later.
