On Sunday night, the Mets and Royals opened the 2016 season in Kansas City. In the ESPN booth, ex-Yankees third baseman—and walk-off home run legend—Aaron Boone was on the call.
Prior to heading out to Kansas City to broadcast the game, Boone spoke to NJ Advance Media about the upcoming season, Royals' success and what he sees when he looks at the Yankees and AL East this season.
"Everyone is trying to find the formula that's taken over in Kansas City," Boone said during a phone conversation.
