BALTIMORE — Domingo German made the Yankees rotation in part because of injuries to Luis Severino and CC Sabathia.
The right-hander has done his part to stick around. After he allowed just one hit and an unearned run in his season debut against Detroit last week, German retired the first 13 Orioles he faced on Sunday at Camden Yards and didn’t allow a hit until Hanser Alberto singled to right-center with one out in the bottom of the sixth.
Baltimore didn’t get its first baserunner until German walked Rio Ruiz with one out in the fifth, as the Orioles couldn’t get to the 26-year-old.
