A lot has changed since October and it’s a very different Boston team that found itself losing two in a row at the Stadium, including a 5-3 defeat Wednesday, which dropped the Red Sox to 6-13 on the season.
On top of that, Dustin Pedroia, playing in just his sixth game of the year as he tries to bounce back from 2017 left-knee surgery, took himself out of the game in the second inning and manager Alex Cora admitted he wasn’t sure how long the second baseman would be out.
