DotF: Great starting pitching leads to a win at every level

RHP Tommy Kahnle reported to Triple-A Scranton today and, according to DJ Eberle, he’s going to throw one inning every other day. He’s on a rehab assignment, basically. Wonder if the Yankees regret bringing him back from the disabled list so quickly.

Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (6-3 win over Durham)

  • LF Tyler Wade: 2-5, 1 RBI, 2 K
  • CF Clint Frazier: 0-5, 1 K — the Collective Bargaining Agreement gives players three days to report after being sent down, but Frazier has been in the lineup the very next day both times he was sent down this year … dude’s eager to play
  • 3B Brandon Drury: 1-3, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 BB, 1 K
  • SS Ronald Torreyes: 1-3, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 BB
  • RF Billy McKinney: 2-4, 1 R, 1 RBI, 2 K
  • C Kyle Higashioka: 0-4, 1 K — really struggling lately … he’s 3-for-33 (.
