Don Larsen, the former Yankees great who threw the only perfect game in World Series history, died Wednesday at the age of 90, according to reports.
The cause of death was not immediately known.
The two-time World Series champion’s most famous moment came with the Yankees in 1956 when he pitched a perfect game in Game 5 of the World Series against the Dodgers. He won World Series MVP that same year, and pitched 14 years in the majors.
