NEW YORK -- Domingo German had just wrapped up a nearly six-minute interview session with reporters Thursday night when New York Yankees pitching coach Larry Rothschild walked over and approached the young pitcher at his locker.
As German was settling back into his plush seat, Rothschild handed him a small box and offered a word of congratulations.
