But in the time since, which organization has really been more like the Boss-run Yankees with radical flip-flops in philosophy, the chasing of shiny objects and instability in the ranks?
This is not to suggest that the Yankees are a bastion of propriety and steadiness. But it is hard to ignore that since 1992, they have had just three managers and three GMs, and they found a way to keep their Core Four and more intact for the most part.
