The month of January was an eventful one for sorting out the future of the Yankees’ starting rotation. Masahiro Tanaka and J.A. Happ officially departed in free agency, and to fill their spots, GM Brian Cashman made moves to acquire Corey Kluber and Jameson Taillon. If everything shakes right, Kluber and Taillon could pair with ace Gerrit Cole and Jordan Montgomery to give the Yankees a strong front four in 2021 — and that’s without considering possible contributions from rookies like Deivi García and Clarke Schmidt.
