Didi Gregorius trend not yet setting off Yankees’ alarms

Didi Gregorius welcomed himself back to Yankee Stadium on Tuesday with a double in his first at-bat.

The shortstop’s defense is still trying to catch up.

In his fourth game back from offseason Tommy John surgery, Gregorius committed his second error on a tough day in the field as the Yankees opened a Subway Series split doubleheader with a 12-5 win over the Mets.

“Not worried about Didi at all,” manager Aaron Boone said. “Now I’m just looking forward to him getting built up to where he’s back and playing every day pretty much.
