Did the Yankees make a mistake in trading Ivan Nova?

Ivan Nova has a 2.41 ERA in eight starts for the Pittsburgh Pirates, but the Yankees should not feel dumb for trading him.

Pittsburgh Pirates pitching coach Ray Searage appears to have worked his magic once again, this time with former Yankees starter Ivan Nova. In eight starts for the Bucs, Nova has a 2.41 ERA over 52.1 innings, basically pitching as well as Gerrit Cole last season. Considering the fact that Cole has dealt with elbow issues, Nova was a very important addition to the Pirates, even if their chances of making the postseason are looking slim.
