Former New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter could be returning to baseball, and not with the team that you think.
According to Charlie Gasparino of Fox Business, Jeter has expressed interest in bidding for the Miami Marlins and is one of three bidders for the team. The former shortstop is represented by Gregory Fleming, who is a former Morgan Stanley brokerage chief.
Former Florida governor and presidential candidate Jeb Bush is another candidate to be the Marlins owner.
