TAMPA -- Yankees reliever Dellin Betances' camp made their case in a salary arbitration hearing Friday, management made its and the now both sides will wait for a decision.
An arbitrator is expected to decide by Saturday on whether Betances' 2017 contract will be $3 million or $5 million.
Hall of Fame reliever Goose Gossage doesn't think Mariano Rivera is the best reliever of all-time and can't stand what's going in today's game.
Friday's hearing went on for four hours in St. Petersburg, Fla., the New York Times reported, and Yankees management had promised not to hold back in pleading their case, which means Betances could have been offended and left with hard feelings.
