Once Yankees manager Joe Girardi called Dellin Betances in from the bullpen to protect a one-run lead with two outs in the seventh, you could have stuck a fork in the Orioles' bats Friday night at Yankee Stadium. Betances got four outs and credit for a 5-4 victory, and Andrew Miller recorded his 13th save in the ninth as that finishing combo ran their streak to 33 1/3 innings without yielding an earned run this season.
Yankees starter Adam Warren never seemed in full command against a loaded Orioles lineup, but he benefited from some outstanding defense and timely hitting.
