Big Papi has a big appetite, or at least he used to.
Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz, in an interview with SI.com, revealed that he used to be able to eat a lot of wings.
What's the most he's ever eaten at one time? "Well, going back to my younger day when I could really crush wings, I would say probably 1,000," Ortiz said. "Now I can only have four or five. No more than that."
(A quick Google search revealed Patrick Bertoletti set a record last year by eating 444 wings at Wing Bowl 23, meaning Ortiz is probably exaggerating, but we'll cut him some slack.
