This year's Hall of Fame ballot included 34 candidates, including first-timers such as Vladimir Guerrero (pictured), Ivan Rodriguez and Manny Ramirez, as well as 2016 close calls Jeff Bagwell, Tim Raines, Trevor Hoffman. This is my 11th year as a voter, and I take pride in being a tough voter. We're allowed to vote for 10 candidates and I've never come close to finding 10 worthy of my ballot. Here's why I vote for or against the 2017 Hall contenders:
