He said so in a tweet Thursday afternoon. See, the night before, he played in a 12-inning game as a member of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. They had a day game scheduled for Thursday.
"I was just like, 'Man, how am I going to make it through this day game tomorrow?' '' he said. "The trainer kind of chuckled at me and then I got called into the office."
There he was told that he most certainly would be playing a day game on Thursday .
