Clint Frazier’s workload increase ‘didn’t go as well as we hoped’

TAMPA — Clint Frazier’s road back from a concussion has hit a bump.

“He came in feeling OK this morning [Friday], but yesterday [Thursday] when we upped his workload it didn’t go as well as we had hoped,’’ manager Aaron Boone said of the left fielder, who suffered the concussion a week ago Sunday when he toppled backward making a catch and hit his head against the fence. “With the concussion thing we are going to be very careful, very cautious and try to listen to him the best we can.Right before the game he went over and got an MRI just to make sure we are hitting on everything and getting as many answers as we can.
