When the New York Yankees optioned outfielder Clint Frazier to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday, it was much to his surprise. Frazier felt he had done a lot to help the ballclub in the 53 games he played for them.
However, this is the reality of it, and now Frazier will play his first game for the RailRiders on Thursday night. Frazier reported to the club on Wednesday, however, didn’t play.
When speaking on his role for the Yankees, Frazier told James Kratch of nj.com that he “didn’t want to be a 24-year-old DH.
