Circus tent forces Tampa Yankees to postpone game

It's a circus at Steinbrenner Field.

No, the Yankees’ owners are not causing a stir, but blinking lights from a giant circus tent behind the right-center field wall sure did and forced a Single-A minor league game between the Tampa Yankees and Clearwater Treshers to be postponed.

The blue and pink colored tent hovered over the trees beyond the fence and extended from right-center field to a little behind the batter’s eye.

Hard to believe an affiliated minor league game is cancelled because there is a circus tent in the batter's eye. pic.twitter.com/2ehpuTUljb

The tent also had blinking lights located at the top, which likely solidified the decision to cancel the game.
