After a rousing first day in his two-day audition for a job at WFAN, Gov. Chris Christie treated sports talk radio listeners to four hours of far less scintillating radio on Tuesday afternoon as callers genuflected.
The high point came roughly two hours into the show when co-host Evan Roberts asked Christie, "What is Fort Lee like? Do they like you?"
Christie paused, seemingly waiting for the punch line. When none came, he responded, "It's mixed, given that's where the George Washington Bridge is.
