Chris Young has defected to the other side of baseball's biggest rivalry.
The outfielder reportedly agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with the Red Sox on Monday, a deal first reported by Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal. The deal is still pending a physical.
Young spent last season with the Yankees, hitting .252/.320/.453 with 14 home runs and 42 RBI - most of that damage coming against lefthanders. He hit .327/.397/.575 with seven homers and 24 RBI in 153 at-bats against southpaws.
