A downtrodden CC Sabathia was spotted Tuesday at a celebrity-friendly Connecticut rehab just hours before the first pitch of the Yankees’ wild card playoff game.
The towering lefty was 43 miles north of the Bronx at the Silver Hill Hospital, a sprawling facility where the base cost of a 28-day addiction program is $37,100.
“I saw him walking in here this morning,” a fellow patient told the Daily News. “He looked kind of sad. He’s a big guy. I know he probably doesn’t want to be here, but I think that he did a brave thing.”
