BOCA RATON, Fla. — Tuesday marks the official start of this year's general managers meetings at the Boca Raton Resort and Club, and while the real action typically doesn't take place until next months' Winter Meetings, Yankees GM Brian Cashman believes this year has the potential to be different.
"We've had a lot of dialogue the whole month, so we'll see," Cashman said after arriving at the meetings late Monday afternoon. "It hasn't typically been busy GM meetings overall in years gone by, but it feels like the dialogue has been a lot more active throughout October than any year prior, so who knows?
