Carlos Beltran reveals tip for how the Mets can beat Zack Greinke

The Mets are in their first postseason since the 2006 NLCS, when Carlos Beltran struck out looking against the Cardinals’ Adam Wainwright to end the season.

Despite that memory, Beltran said he is hoping his former team beats the Dodgers in Los Angeles in Thursday’s decisive Game 5.

“I want the season to continue in New York,” Beltran said. “Going up against [Zack] Greinke isn’t going to be easy. When you have to go up against that and [Clayton] Kershaw, that is hard for anyone in a five-game series.”

Beltran had some advice for his former team.
