There’s little point in trying to project a five game series between two baseball teams. Anything can happen in a best-of-five series, especially between two teams that are not exceedingly different in terms of talent. But blogging is sort of pointless in general, so this kind of exercise fits.
Anyway, as we’ve known for over a week, the Yankees will be facing the Twins in the ALDS starting tomorrow. The two most prolific single-season home run teams of all time are going to be duking it out for the right to lose to the Astros in the ALCS so the stakes could not possibly be any higher.
