I still remember watching a 19-year-old Jeter make his Double-A debut with the Albany-Colonie Yankees against the New Britain Red Sox on June 25, 1994. Time flies.
As you well know Jeter is a five-time World Series champion, 2000 World Series MVP, 2000 All-Star Game MVP, 1996 American League Rookie of the Year, 14-time All-Star, five-time silver slugger winner, five-time gold glove winner, and a two-time AL Hank Aaron Award winner.
Jeter will be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum on Sept. 8, 2021.
