Bronx Bombers home run alert rockin’ Rob Refsnyder

Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. The New York Yankees closed out the first half with an exclamation point. Winning 8-6 against the Boston Red Sox, the Yanks head into the break in first place with a ledger of 48-40. The Yankees were buoyed by a pair of book end home runs from Brian McCann and what turned out to be the eventual winner by Rob Refsnyder.

Refsnyder, who collected his first major-league hit during the seventh, also notched his first career home run in the ninth. With one on and one out, Refsnyder ripped one into the Monster seats, off a 2-2 slider from Alexi Ogando.
